Review by hotel critic
Pousada Porto Girassol offers a serene getaway with its beachfront location, providing a peaceful ambiance. The housekeeping was meticulous, ensuring a consistently clean environment. The air conditioning was a welcoming feature, especially during hot days in Sao Paulo. The patio with a hammock offered a perfect spot to unwind, enjoying the picturesque views. Although lacking in ironing facilities, the overall simplicity of the rooms was charming. The 24-hour reception and security added a sense of safety and convenience. While the hotel doesn't boast lavish amenities like a flat-screen TV in every room or Wi-Fi access, the focus on tranquility and nature was refreshing. The garden area was well-maintained, contributing to the relaxing atmosphere. The beach access was a highlight, perfect for leisurely strolls by the sea. For those seeking an understated luxury without the frills, Pousada Porto Girassol strikes a fine balance between value and comfort.
